Artist Statement
I view art as my way of life; working with my hands is the joy and meaning of my life.
After 40 years of artistic study, research, and work, I believe that the language of art is itself the soul, purpose, and most important aspect of any artistic work. It is also my ultimate goal of my research and practice.
For the past 10 years, the themes of anxiety and confusion about the present and future and criticism of the present has been the main concern of my artistic works and what I most want to express.
